How do I list my business in the directory?+
Create a free account, then go to your account dashboard and click 'New listing'. Fill in your business details and submit for review. Our team will approve eligible listings (usually within a few working days). Listings cost £3.99 per month.
How much does advertising cost?+
Business listings cost £3.99 per month, billed in advance. You can cancel at any time and your listing will remain visible until the end of the period you have paid for.
What is a 'Coming Soon' listing?+
If your business has not yet opened, you can mark your listing as 'Coming Soon' so visitors know it's launching shortly. A 'Coming Soon' badge will appear on your listing card and detail page.
Who sells the products in the Shop?+
Shop products are listed on behalf of Filipino-owned third-party sellers in the UK. The seller is responsible for fulfilment, delivery, returns and customer service for their products.
How do I get my product into the Shop?+
Send us a direct message on Instagram or email us at filipinosintheuk@gmail.com and we'll guide you through onboarding.
What if there's a problem with a product I bought?+
Contact the seller directly in the first instance — they're responsible for refunds and exchanges under UK consumer law. If you can't get a resolution, email us and we'll help mediate.
How do I get my event listed on the Events page?+
Email filipinosintheuk@gmail.com or DM us on Instagram with the event title, start and end date, location, a short description and a poster image (portrait works best). Our team reviews submissions and publishes Filipino-relevant UK events. Listing community events is currently free.
How long do events stay visible?+
Events appear on the Events page and homepage from the moment we publish them and are automatically removed the day after the end date. For multi-day events we use the end date you provide.
Are you the organiser of the events listed?+
No. Unless we explicitly say otherwise, events are organised by third parties and we simply share them with the community. Tickets, entry, refunds, safety and any changes are the responsibility of the organiser — always check their official channels before travelling.
How is my personal data handled?+
We follow UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Read our Privacy Policy for a full breakdown of what we collect and your rights.
How do I report a listing or content?+
Email filipinosintheuk@gmail.com with the listing URL or screenshot and a brief description. We review reports promptly and may remove content that breaches our Terms.
Can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?+
Yes — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can email us at any time to be removed.
