ADVERTISER TERMS

All listings are reviewed by us before going live. We may accept, reject, edit or request changes to any listing at our sole discretion. Approval does not imply endorsement of the Advertiser or its goods or services.

Paid listings and paid promotion are charged at the rate shown at the point of purchase. All fees are non-refundable once the listing or promotion has been published, including where the Advertiser subsequently chooses to remove the listing, closes its business, or where we suspend or remove the listing for breach of these terms.

We reserve the right, at any time and without notice or refund, to moderate, edit, suspend or remove any listing or promotion — for example if it:

• is inaccurate, misleading or out of date;
• attracts significant customer complaints;
• promotes goods or services we consider unsafe, unlawful or reputationally harmful;
• breaches any part of these terms or our Terms & Conditions.

We do not guarantee any specific number of impressions, enquiries, clicks, followers or sales from a listing or promotion. Any figures we share are estimates only.

The Advertiser warrants and represents that:

• it operates a lawful business and holds all licences, permits, registrations and insurance required for its goods or services (for example food hygiene ratings, DBS checks, professional registrations, alcohol licences);
• it owns or is fully licensed to use all logos, images, text, video and other content submitted;
• the information submitted is accurate and not misleading;
• its goods and services comply with all applicable UK consumer, advertising and product-safety law, including the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 and Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) codes.

The Advertiser agrees to indemnify us on demand against any losses, damages, fines, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) any claim by a third party in connection with the Advertiser's listing content or its dealings with users introduced via the Website; (b) infringement of any third-party intellectual property or other rights; and (c) any regulatory or enforcement action arising from the Advertiser's conduct or content.

The Advertiser grants us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for the term of the listing (and for a reasonable period afterwards for archival purposes) to use its submitted content, logo and photos to display the listing and to promote the directory and the Website across our own channels, including social media and email.

Any transaction, communication or dispute between the Advertiser and a user of the Website is strictly between those parties. We are not a party to any such transaction and are not liable for the conduct, goods or services of any Advertiser.

We may remove any listing or terminate the Advertiser's use of the directory at any time for breach of these terms, complaints, or legal notice, without refund. The Advertiser may cancel a subscription at any time to stop future billing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability to the Advertiser in any 12-month period is capped at the total fees paid by that Advertiser to us in the preceding 12 months. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of goodwill.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
